The Federal Skilled Worker Immigration is for foreign nationals who plan to obtain a permanent resident visa for Canada. Skilled workers are selected by Immigration Canada to become Canadian permanent residents (Landed Immigrants) based on certain qualifications which provide evidence of their ability to become economically established within Canada.
Minimum Requirements:
WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least one year of full-time paid skilled work experience, or an equal amount in part-time work
- Within the last 10 years, and
- Work experience must be in the same NOC type (O, A or B) of NOC 2011
LANGUAGE
- You must take a language test to approved by immigration Canada and meet the minimum benchmark level 7

- Canadian secondary (high school) or post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree, or
- Credential Evaluation Assessment (for education acquired from abroad)
